My Story
Youjin, known as Eugene by her clients, is a fully qualified and Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist, as well as a Registered Nurse. With over a decade of dedicated experience as a cosmetic nurse injector, coupled with collaborative exposure to dermatologists, cosmetic physicians and surgeons, has ignited a genuine commitment to enhancing individuals' quality of life. This blend of practical experience and professional collaboration has fostered a profound interest in leveraging the realms of facial aesthetics and dermatology to facilitate holistic well-being and empowerment.
Having earned her Master's in Applied Science (Acupuncture/Traditional Chinese Medicine) from RMIT University, Eugene aspires to integrate traditional Chinese medicine principles into her practice, offering a holistic approach to cosmetic dermatology and overall health that resonates with her authentic values and beliefs.
As a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA) and Australian Dermatology Nurses Association (ADNA), Eugene attends conferences in Australia and overseas annually to stay up to date with the latest developments. Her expertise is non-surgical treatments, including hyaluronic acid, muscle relaxants, fat-dissolving injections, PDO threads, and acupuncture treatments for dermatological, cosmetic concerns as well as and full-comprehensive analysis to help identify individual needs to achieve the best possible results. Traditional Chinese Medicine and Cosmetic nursing to Eugene is a means to create real-life art. Collectively her experience, skills and eye for detail lead clients on a journey to enhance and restore their natural beauty.
Eugene has maintained her passion for art since childhood. Harnessing her creative inclination and winning an international award for ‘Conceptualism’ painting from high school to Daegu Traditional Korean Medicine University for a Bachelor of Art Therapy before moving overseas just after turning 19 years old. Leaving her artistic side behind, Eugene's natural caring and compassionate side flourished as a nurse. Moving into the field of Cosmetic Nursing piqued her creative inclination once more - in a new light.
Being a practitioner who takes a holistic approach with TCM principles, Eugene understands dermatological conditions are multi-faceted, and symptoms are related to patients’ internal health. Each person is approached as an individual with their own set of signs and symptoms - how the body responds to having a condition is unique to the patient. She intends to bring together cosmetic medicine, dermatology and acupuncture to offer a natural patient-centric approach to cosmetic procedures and acupuncture treatments to help harmonise with and heal the skin from the inside out.
Her mission is to inspire and assist people in looking and feeling their healthy, confident selves. Bringing together her eye for art, attention to detail, and holistic approach to beauty enabled her to excel in her career. Eugene enjoys delivering personalised treatments tailored for her clients, from a fresher and rejuvenated appearance to younger, attractive, contoured, feminine, or masculine appearances.
